CHAPTER SUMMARY:
Lucas takes charge at B-Side, determined to find the right person to fill his old position— preferably not Zach, who he suspects is following in his footsteps a little too closely. But after a string of hilariously bad interviews, Lucas is left with one unlikely option: Beatrice, a quirky candidate who insists on calling him “Frank.”
Back at Bourbon St. Boarding, Sadie proposes something new: the Secret Zachary Information Council. Lucas tries to resist, but as Zach starts bonding with the other housemates and keeping him on at an arm’s length, he can’t help taking things personally and feeling further suspicious of Zach’s motives.
When Beatrice doesn’t work out at B-Side, Lucas turns hiring back over to August, worried he’s failed his mentor. Sadie decides to take the job temporarily in a last ditch attempt to block Zach, but to everyone’s surprise… August hires both of them.
As the day ends, Lucas is forced to wonder: Is Zach just trying to start over... or is he hiding something more?
